Tarun Kanti Gayen is one of Bangladesh’s most experienced clinical psychologists, with over 20 years of practice. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Clinical Psychology at the University of Dhaka and acting General Secretary of the Bangladesh Clinical Psychology Society. A founding member of the drug rehabilitation centre CREA, he has served as its Chief Executive since 1999, and has consulted for the WHO, IOM, UNDP, and the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs — including mental health programmes in the Rohingya refugee response. His clinical practice covers addiction, psychosexual dysfunction, borderline personality disorder, and family therapy.
