Tamima Tanjin is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with more than two decades of clinical practice in Dhaka. She works across family and couple therapy, child and adolescent crisis support, and addiction — drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), systemic family therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, alongside neuropsychological assessment.

Tamima’s practice spans two settings that rarely meet: a university hall, where she has supported students through academic pressure and personal crisis for sixteen years, and a de-addiction hospital, where she works with addiction and the families around it. That range shapes how she works — she is used to sitting with a family system, not only the person in front of her, and to holding situations where things have reached crisis point.
