Refund & Return Policy
This policy explains when you can cancel, reschedule, or request a refund for anything you book with Chum Wellness. It covers therapy and counselling sessions, workshop tickets, and corporate programmes.
Chum Wellness provides professional services, not physical goods, so there is nothing to ship back to us. For our services, a “return” means cancelling a booking and, where eligible, receiving a refund. This policy sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Therapy and counselling sessions
When you book a session, we reserve a specific block of time with a licensed psychologist and hold it for you alone. That time cannot be offered to anyone else, which is why the timings below matter.
- Cancel or reschedule 24 hours or more before your session — you receive a full refund, or a credit towards a future session. The choice is yours.
- Cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not attend — the full session fee applies and no refund is issued.
- Completed sessions — once a session has taken place, the fee is non-refundable.
If something serious happened, talk to us anyway. A medical emergency, a bereavement, a family crisis, or a mental health crisis are exactly the situations we work with every day — and we understand that the reason someone misses an appointment is sometimes the very reason they booked it. Contact us and we will review it individually. We can and do waive the fee at our discretion.
2. Workshops and events
- More than 48 hours before the event — tickets to live, in-person workshops are fully refundable.
- Within 48 hours of the event — tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. Tell us the name of the person attending in your place and we will update the list.
- If we cancel or reschedule — you receive a full refund, or a place at the new date. Whichever you prefer.
3. Corporate programmes, EAP and retainers
Corporate wellness programmes, Employee Assistance Programmes, and B2B retainers are governed by the terms of the service agreement signed with your organisation. As a general rule, fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun. Please refer to your agreement, or contact us and we will walk you through it.
4. How to cancel, reschedule, or request a refund
Contact us as early as you can — the earlier you tell us, the more options you have:

Please include your name, the date and time of the booking, and the payment method you used. You do not need to explain why you are cancelling.
5. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the booking. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to be processed from our side. Your bank or mobile financial service provider may take a little longer to show it in your account.
If a refund has not reached you within 10 business days of approval, please contact us and we will trace it.
