Credentials, Verification & Confidentiality
Qualified, verified psychologists. Never an anonymous listing.
Choosing a psychologist means trusting someone with your most private concerns. At Chum Wellness, every client is matched with a qualified, verified mental health professional, never an anonymous listing. This page explains who our psychologists are, how we verify their credentials, and how we protect your confidentiality.
Qualified clinical psychologists
Chum Wellness works with 60+ licensed psychologists and counsellors across Bangladesh. Our clinical psychologists hold graduate degrees (MS and M.Phil) in Clinical Psychology, many from the University of Dhaka, and bring years of supervised clinical experience in areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, family and child mental health.
Registered with the Bangladesh Clinical Psychology Society (BCPS)
Many of our clinical psychologists are registered members of the Bangladesh Clinical Psychology Society (BCPS), the professional body for clinical psychology in Bangladesh. Where a psychologist is a BCPS member, we list their BCPS Member ID directly on their profile so you can verify it independently on the BCPS members directory.
How Chum verifies every therapist
- We review academic qualifications and clinical training before a psychologist joins the platform.
- We confirm professional registration and affiliations, such as BCPS membership, where applicable.
- Clinical quality is supported by independent vetting through Psycoach, our clinical governance partner.
- Each profile shows the psychologist’s real qualifications, experience, specialities, languages and fees, so you can choose with full information before you book.
Your confidentiality is protected
Everything you share in a session is confidential. Sessions, online or in person, are private between you and your psychologist, and your personal information is never sold or shared for marketing. Confidentiality is a core part of professional clinical ethics, and it applies to every session on Chum Wellness. The only exceptions are the narrow situations required by professional ethics and law, such as a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s.
If you are in immediate danger or crisis, call the national emergency number 999.
