Who leads it
Designed and led by our Clinical Director.
Our workshops are built and delivered by Chum’s clinical team, led by Clinical Director Saima Akther, a senior clinical psychologist who has personally run mental-health sessions inside RMG factories and frontline settings across Bangladesh, in Bangla, with real shift patterns and large mixed groups.
Her professional experience includes work with Better Work (ILO), IFC and CARE, with an MSc and MPhil in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dhaka. Facilitators for your sessions are confirmed on booking.

How long is a workshop, and how many people?
Sessions run from a 90-minute awareness format to a full half-day (2.5–3 hours), for a batch of about 40–50 people. Larger groups are split so the practice work still has room to work.
What is Mental Health First Aid, exactly?
It trains your managers and supervisors to recognise distress in the people they lead and respond safely, using the WHO Look, Listen, Link approach, with boundaries and a clear escalation pathway. The full tier certifies each participant and leaves a named champions network and written protocol inside your organisation.
