Chum Wellness Partners with PsyCoach to Empower Youth Mental Health Leaders
Chum Wellness, in partnership with PsyCoach, is driving youth-led mental health initiatives across Bangladesh—shaping future leaders, employees, and workplaces.

Mental Health in Bangladesh: Why Youth Leadership Matters
Bangladesh faces a pressing challenge: 1 in 3 people experience mental health difficulties in their lifetime. Despite this, stigma, lack of access, and cultural barriers prevent many from seeking support. At Chum Wellness, we believe that the solution lies in empowering people at every level—students, employees, and communities—to take mental health seriously.
That’s why we joined hands with PsyCoach, the lead organizer of the Summer Challenge 2025. This youth-led, clinically guided program trains university students to design and deliver real-world mental health projects in their communities. As a supporting partner, Chum Wellness brings professional expertise and strategic support to ensure these initiatives make lasting impact.

Event Highlights at a Glance

- 200+ project proposals received nationwide

From Youth Engagement to Corporate Mental Wellness
Why does this matter for companies and professionals? Because today’s students are tomorrow’s employees. Their current exposure to stress management, peer support, and stigma reduction will directly influence the future of employee mental health in Bangladesh.
Forward-thinking organizations already recognize that corporate mental wellness drives productivity, talent retention, and sustainable growth. By engaging youth leaders now, Chum Wellness and PsyCoach are together shaping a healthier workforce—prepared to navigate both professional and personal challenges with resilience.
Looking Ahead
Over the coming weeks, student teams will implement projects tackling:
- Exam stress and academic pressure
- Parenting, youth relationships, and family wellbeing
- Addiction awareness and trauma-informed care
- Technology’s influence on mental health
- Community stigma reduction and social harmony
By October 2025, their work will be showcased before academics, nonprofits, psychologists, and policymakers—setting a new benchmark for youth-driven mental health initiatives in Bangladesh.
